looks like christmas

I've been meaning to write this post for a while but i've gotten so busy lately, i'm not sure i'll even get a break this christmas. I love my job and love it when all the things i love doing come together into one project. 
I've been baking, packaging and photographing loads of fruit cakes in the past couple of months for christmas this year.

I'm always on the road and if you live in Lagos you'd know that traffic is a regular part of the day. Its amazing how much time is spent on the road. It's exhausting and a serious wait of valuable time that can be spent doing so much more baking. When i'm sitting behind the wheel waiting for the car in front of me to move an inch, i finally understand the expression 'Time is Money'. Despite the horrors of Lagos traffic during the day, driving at night is so beautiful at this time of the year. The roads are clear and Lagos lights up! I love driving fast so this is a great time to pretend i'm in a movie like the Fast and the Furious after the slow pace driving of the day. It's not very easy(or safe) to take pictures while driving but i got the best i could at the traffic light stops. They don't look half as good as they look in real life though.
